Here I am Lord
I, the Lord of sea and sky,I have heard My people cry,All who dwell in dark and sin,My hand will save.I who made the stars of night,I will make the darkness bright.Who will bear My light to them ?Whom shall I send ? Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord ?I have heard You calling the night.I will go Lord, if you lead me.I will hold Your people in my heart. I, the Lord of snow and rain,I have born my peoples pain,I have wept for love of them, They turn away.I will brake their hearts of stone,Give them hearts for love alone.I will speak My word to them,Whom shall I send ? Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord ?I have heard You calling the night.I will go Lord, if you lead me.I will hold Your people in my heart. I the Lord of wind and flame,I will tend the poor and lame.I will set a feast for them,My hand will save.Finest bread I will provide.Till their hearts be satisfied.I will give My life to them,Whom shall I send ? Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord ?I have heard You calling the night.I will go Lord, if you lead me.I will hold Your people in my heart.
On Eagles’ Wings You who dwell in the shelter of the LordWho abide in His shadow for lifeSay to the Lord“My refuge, my rock in whom I trust” And he will raise you up on eagles’ wingsBear you on the breath of dawnMake you to shine like the sunAnd hold you in the palm of his hand The snare of the fowler will never capture youAnd famine will bring you no fearUnder His wings your refugeHis faithfulness your shield And he will raise you up on eagles’ wingsBear you on the breath of dawnMake you to shine like the sunAnd hold you in the palm of his hand You need not fear the terror of the nightNor the arrow that flies by dayThought thousands fall about youNear you it shall not come And he will raise you up on eagles’ wingsBear you on the breath of dawnMake you to shine like the sunAnd hold you in the palm of his hand For to His angels He’s given a commandTo guard you in all of your waysUpon their hands they will bear you upLest you dash your foot against a stone And he will raise you up on eagles’ wingsBear you on the breath of dawnMake you to shine like the sunAnd hold you in the palm of his hand

City of God
Awake from your slumber ! Arise from your sleep !A new day is dawning for all those who weep. The people in darkness have seen a great light. The Lord of our longing has conquered the night. Let us build the city of God.May our tears be turned into dancing !For the Lord, our light and our love, Has turned the night into day. We are sons of the morning, we are daughters of day,The One who has loved us has brightened our wayThe Lord of all kindness has called us to beA light for his people to set their hearts free. Let us build the city of God.May our tears be turned into dancing !For the Lord, our light and our love, Has turned the night into day. God is light; in him there is no darkness.Let us walk in his light, his children, one and all.O comfort my people; make gentle your wordsProclaim to my city the day of her birth. May our tears be turned into dancing !For the Lord, our light and our love, Has turned the night into day. O city of gladness, now lift up your voiceProclaim the good tidings that all may rejoice! Let us build the city of God.May our tears be turned into dancing !For the Lord, our light and our love, Has turned the night into day.
Reception immediately follows award Ceremony in Rectory Basement

AD ALTARE DEI The Boy Scouts or Venturing of the Catholic Faith is presented with a beautiful tableau of
the Sacramental theology of the church through the Ad Altare Dei program. This was the first religious emblem program, of any faith, officially
recognized by the Boy Scouts of America as part of their youth program in America. For over fifty years,
the Catholic Church has led the way in this field as hundreds of emblem counselors have guided thousands of young men and
women through this program of scripture, faith, exploration and community service.

POPE PIUS XII During the
Second World War and for a generation thereafter, Eugenio Pacelli served as our Holy Father, Pope Pius XII. He
guided the Church through a broken world and taught all humanity to forgive and to work together to build peace.
Pope Pius XII believed with every fiber of his being in the moral goodness of young people and was a staunch supporter
of Scouting. It is for this reason the National Catholic Committee on Scouting created an emblem in his
honor. It is presented to those older Scouts and Venturing who have proved the moral and spiritual issues
which the young people of today.
